I worked with a team of MDC students on this concept video for a thesis film for the Film, TV, and Digital Production Bachelor's program.
My job was to put together archival footage, interviews, and audio to present the overall look and goal of the project pitch.

Background
Will “Da Real One” Bell was a spoken word poet and artist who was murdered in front of his poetry venue, The Literary Café, in North Miami, Florida. Here, Will grew as a performer, business owner, workshop leader, and promoter of young creatives.
He went from having his poetry and performances documented on Pitbull and Rick Ross albums to being featured on HBO’s Russell Simmons Presents: Def Poetry Jam.
Will's murder remains unsolved.
D.R.O. was created to keep his memory alive and features exclusive interviews with cafe host Tracy Sumpter and DJ MIDWID.
